Soren Aldaco is a consultant and subject matter expert specializing in gender identity, disability in education, internet subcultures, and the impact of social media on youth. Soren is currently pursuing graduate studies in Human Development, Culture, and Learning Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. Her interests are firmly interdisciplinary, dedicated to interrogating modern frameworks of self, including how identity is shaped by digital tech and (dis)embodiment.
Across contexts, Soren is known as a bridge-builder and dialectical thinker. After spending a decade of her life addicted to digital media and at odds with her sex, Soren now advocates for holistic, systems-based approaches to sex trait modification and the non-integration of sex constancy. She regularly participates in non-partisan discussions on pressing social issues with organizations like Independent Women and BridgeUSA. When not speaking to individuals and communities across the political spectrum, Soren can be found enjoying her two passions: playing sandlot baseball and volunteering with at-risk cats.
